Tyre EPR Credits: questions, answered

What are tyre EPR credits?

Tyre EPR credits are EPR certificates generated by registered waste tyre recyclers on the CPCB tyre portal for recognised end-products. Tyre producers acquire them to meet obligations.

Which recycled products count?

Reclaimed rubber, crumb rubber, crumb rubber modified bitumen, recovered carbon black and pyrolysis oil or char, under the conditions in the rules.

Who can sell tyre EPR credits on EPRSetu?

Only waste tyre recyclers registered on the CPCB portal, after EPRSetu verifies them.

Does EPRSetu transfer the certificates?

No. Transfer happens only on the authorised CPCB system.

Why use EPRSetu instead of finding a counterparty yourself?

One desk verifies both sides, sends one clear rate within 24 hours and closes the deal within 48 — with no public listings, so your prices and volumes stay private.
